Step 1 The Consultation

Everything is custom, we start by chatting about your wants and needs. What makes you think about portraits now? What things are you hoping to capture? What are your worries about getting your dream photos? We will tailor the location and experience to your family to truly provide you with the pictures you hoped you could get. During the consultation Mark will help prepare kids and dogs (even shy, untrained or disabled animals) and we will discuss the wardrobe that helps realize your vision.

After the logistics we will work together to plan where and how you will display your finished artwork. We

step 2 Your Portrait session

We will spend about an hour together on location or in studio. Mark uses a combination of poses and fun candid activities to not only get the shots you want, but to make your experience fun and easy. One of Mark’s favorite and frequent compliments is hearing clients say “that was easy!”

step 3 Ordering session

One to two weeks after your session we will meet in Mark’s studio to create your own package of artwork. We don’t work from preset packages because what works for one person often isn’t right for another. We will project your images larger than life so you can see all of the details while you enjoy a gourmet charcuterie sampler. Meeting together allows us to talk about all of the options, put frame samples in your hands and ensures that you’re getting exactly what you need.

You’ll finalize your order during this session so it is important that all decision makers be present.

Step 4 Delivery

Between 3 and 5 weeks after you order your artwork will be ready to take home! We work with professional installers who can expertly hang your work for you* and we provide guidance if you prefer to do it yourself. All of our work comes with our lifetime warranty.

Portrait Session Pricing

Signature Studio Sessions begin with a $695 session fee that includes a $500 image credit toward your custom artwork package.

Deluxe Outdoor Sessions begin with at $795 and include the same $500 image credit. Mark travels the state and beyond. Please call for a travel quote outside of the Denver Metro area.

Extended Family sessions with multiple generations begin at $1290 with a $1000 image credit included.

Museum Canvas

Museum Canvas Wraps are a modern and elegant way to display your art without a frame. All canvases are made with longevity in mind and include a special varnish to protect them from fading and moisture so they always look as good as when you first got them. Canvas Wraps begin at $489.

Framed fine art canvases

Framed canvases have the classic elegance of a frame with a modern twist. The canvases are printed on our thickest archival museum canvas, specially coated for UV and water resistance and framed without glass. This presentation is perfect for our Colorado homes with lots of windows and light. Framed fine art canvases are without a doubt Mark's favorite. Framed canvas prices depend on frame choices and size and generally begin at $739 including frame.

Traditionally framed photographic prints

With or without a mat, traditional photographic prints make a classic statement piece. Our prints are made with heavyweight art paper and conservation glazing comes standard. Non-glare glazing is an optional upgrade. Frame and mat choices vary, typical options begin at $900 for finished framed pieces with conservation glazing.

Gift Prints

Fine art prints come with an archival mat and backing to protect your portraits. They are ready to frame. 5x7 prints fit into an 8x10 frame and 8x10 prints fit into an 11x14 frame. 5x7 and 8x10 gift prints begin at $85.

Gift Frames

Gift frames are available in a number of sizes with and without easel backs for display on walls or shelves. This 6x6 frame makes the perfect finish for a lovely gift. Of course, you don't have to give away the gift frames. They make wonderful collages and accents to your office. Frames are available with or without photos and begin at $45 (frame only).

Canvas Clusters

A picture is worth a thousand words and a collage of photographs is the perfect story of your family. Canvas collages can be created in a wide variety of sizes and with virtually any number of photographs. Regardless of size we use our finest museum canvases for archival presentation. Canvas clusters are one of our favorite future proof ways to display your artwork. Since the pieces aren't physically tied together you can always re-arrange or separate them if you move or even add to the group from future family portrait sessions. Individual canvases begin at $489 for 16x20 and cluster pricing varies by number and size of pieces involved.

Digital Options

Digital files come in three formats: Social Media, Holiday Card and Reproduction Grade.

A social media copy is complimentary upon request with any printed image that you purchase. Social Media images may not be printed.

Holiday card image options begin at $149. Your fully retouched image(s) will be uploaded to minted.com where you can choose from hundreds of customizable designs to make the card that is just right for you. Holiday card images may not otherwise be printed.

Reproduction grade images are full-size, fully retouched images for you to make prints as you desire. They are available a la carte for $350 each with a minimum printed artwork purchase of $1159. Digital-only options with no print investment begin at $1595.
