We love working with both kids and dogs, and it is always fun to combine these two passions in a single photo shoot. This is perhaps our favorite picture of 2015 so far! As a small, boutique photography studio, we are able to tailor each photo shoot to our client's wants and needs to create a unique, lasting memory that they will cherish for years to come.

Have you seen the new issue of Modern Dog Magazine? If you haven't then you should pick up an issue and see the nice article by Mark! The article talks about ways to use your love for photography to help shelter pets get adopted. Several of shelter dogs that Mark has photographed over the years were also featured. A good picture for the shelter or rescue's website is sometimes the difference between a dog finding a forever home and either living in the shelter for years or being put to sleep because it was deemed not adoptable. If you have the time and interest, please consider donating your time at your local animal shelter!

Happy New Years from Mark Stevens Photography! We had a wonderful 2014 and are truly thankful for all of our new and repeat clients. 2014 was a big year for us as we added a new member to our family. Molly Stevens joined our family in November and she's practicing to be our future photo assistant and learning what it means to be the newest, littlest worker in our crew.
We've had a fun time photographing every little milestone for her and while we know that you can't come in every week, we hope that you will consider planning a professional photography session to capture the big changes your babies and children make as they grow up. Most of our clients prefer to do newborn sessions, followed by sitting up pictures (typically 4-6 months) and 1 year pictures all in the baby's first year. It is amazing to see how your baby changes in just the first 12 months!

If you pre-ordered your Harley greeting cards for Christmas, our shipment has arrived and all current orders have shipped. If you live in the US, then you should receive your package of cards in 2-3 business days. If you are an international customer, you should receive them in 6-10 business days.

Denver Arts Week is Nov 7-15
Did you know that November 7-15 is Denver Arts Week? Find deals from local artists, special performances, and fun outings for your kids or family during this week. Harley came in for his photo shoot a few weeks ago and we're excited to announce the new line of Harley's cards just in time for the holidays! These limited edition greeting cards are available in sets of 25, are blank on the inside, and are the same high quality and thickness that you find in specialty store greeting cards. 100% of the proceeds from these cards will be donated to National Mill Dog Rescue to help dogs like Harley. Denver Studio Children's Portraits
While it's a beautiful fall for outdoor family pictures in Colorado, sometimes a studio photography session is still the best option for getting the photos you really want. We love creating classic and elegant black and white portraits of kids to capture their unique personalities. These are often our client's favorite shots from their session and we take great pride in creating a timeless piece that they will cherish long after their kids have grown.
Harley's Photo Shoot
We had a very special visitor in the studio today. Harley, spokes dog for the National Mill Dog Rescue, was back for another photo shoot with us. We're working on a special project with him to help raise more money for NMDR and we'll be revealing the photos from his shoot soon, so stay tuned for more information! Hint: you'll want this for the holidays this year!
